Mrs. Massey - Melt in your mouth cookies

 

2 cups of sugar

5 tablespoons of powdered cocoa

24 large marshmallows

3 cups graham cracker crumbs

1 cup of milk

1 tablespoon of real butter

1 table spoon vanilla

 

Combine sugar, cocoa, milk and butter and mix in a pot that you can use on top of the stove.

 

Cook like candy until it reaches the soft-ball stage on candy thermometer (or drop in cold water--it will form a small ball when ready). 

 

Remove from the heat immediately; add marshmallows until the dissolve completely. 

 

Add graham cracker crumbs and mix well and then pour into a buttered pan (9-13”). 

 

When cool, cut in squares or roll into ball then cover with powdered sugar.
